IRCBS was formed to specifically serve high net worth, qualified individuals looking to diversify their portfolios with tangible assets. Qualified buyers of rare coins and bullion need distinctive, specialized services that are not available through typical tele-marketing rare coin firms. or through traditional broker-dealer firms. We are a "concierge" firm that provides U.S. rare coin and bullion services to referred clients only. You will notice IRCBS does not have "special deals", "coins of the week" or other such offerings typical in the Internet rare coin market. We do not offer coins directly for sale nor do we hold any inventory of coins to sell to the general public.
We provide services as an independent auction agent to acquire portfolios of high-grade numismatic material for our clients. We bid for our clients at premier auctions conducted by the nation's top firms in order to select the best quality and most sought after coins available in the market. We do not provide coins on an "approval" basis. IRCBS is committed to providing the best in market information, education, and custom portfolio services to our clients.
All rare U.S. coins sold by IRCBS are independently certified by either the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) or the Professional Coin Grading Services (PCGS), the top two internationally-recognized grading services. All prices are based on independently published industry sources, such as the Certified Coin Dealer Newsletter. In addition, we provide a full written disclosure and explanation of your rights and responsibilities with every transaction.
The advantages of dealing with IRCBS include the availability of a wide source of numismatic material from a number of sources as well as the choice of liquidation through wholesale and/or auction through some of the top auction firms in the nation.
All bullion is sold based on spot price plus premium. All premiums over melt or equivalent bullion values can flucuate significantly due to often rapidly changing conditions in the gold and silver bullion markets. A firm order is required to lock in an invoice price with our low-cost distributors. in most cases, quotes include shipping and insurance charges.
